MBP at Photokina speculation

So, Apple has an announcement at Photokina today. Everyone expects a new version of Aperture, but what if there were one more thing? I speculated on what a redesigned MacBookPro might look like (after iChatting with Fraser, I now favour a black anodised Aluminum MBP body). But what if this were the event to release the MBPs with Core Duo 2 processors? It certainly would match the professional image and profile of the event.

I saw a rumour earlier that they were intending to release a 12" Mac Book Pro. Black would be quite a nice addition to the range though.
I'm hoping they don't suddenly release the Mac Book with Core Duo 2 processors - I've just bought one and that would truly suck.

Andrew, they may very well do such a release: many have speculated that the entire mobile line will move to Core Duo 2 because the same "mobile" processors were used in the newest iMacs. The reasoning people are using is that that can only be useful if they're taking advantage of high-volume "bulk" buying on one line of processors...
